Pedal and Wrench NA Bike Collective

Monday, March 4

5:00-7:00pm

The Armory, 206 Ashland St., North Adams (look for the garage doors in the back)

Bring your own bike or work on a bike at the bike collective. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from other community members on basic bike fixes, or team up with more experienced bike mechanics to rebuild a bike. Workshop led by local volunteer and sustainability advocate, Mary Stucklen. Every year 300 million tons of plastic are thrown away. This natural alternative reduces the need to use single-use, non-recyclable plastic wrap. Bring your own favorite fabric or old cotton t-shirt that you love to create a wrap that is unique to you! St. Patty’s Day Craft at The Family Place!!!

nbCC's Monthly Forum – Youth Led Forum – Incorporating Youth Voice into the Community

(Please note this is an evening forum) The youth of YLP, which includes teenagers ages 14 to 19 from 4 different area high schools, will lead a discussion on the impact of viewing youth as equal partners with adults in decision-making. Tree Pruning Workshop

Jay Girard and Yoni Gloglower, DCR urban foresters will be instructing participants how to select and limb trees for health and long life. North Adams Tree Planting Initiative Info Session
