Prevention Needs Assessment Survey Results
In
the spring of 2006, 8th, 10th and 12th graders from throughout the
county participated in a survey sponsored by the Berkshire Youth
Development Project to identify what is helping and hindering positive
youth development in Berkshire County.
Our 4-page
brochure tells you what we learned.

Special: Helping
Hands Grant Application
"Helping
Hands for Helping Hands" is a grant program that helps
not-for-profit organizations provide training opportunities for staff,
executives, and other representatives. The program has been re-funded
for 2007 and will be accepting applications beginning February 10,

Special: Safe Homes Pledge
A network of over 800 North Berkshire parents have joined the Safe Homes
network by signing a pledge that they will allow their teens to throw a
party only when they are present, and that they will not allow the
illegal use of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco by teens at their home or on
their property. Read more about it (click on the link above), and if
your children are in grades 6 through 12, consider signing the pledge
yourself.
